Luke Min
Luke (Gyubin) Min is a Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University, specializing in advanced thermal management systems for electronic devices. He completed his Master’s at Yonsei University in Seoul, focusing on thermodynamic modeling for solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) systems. His doctoral research explores the enhancement of cooling efficiency in electronic systems, particularly through the integration of phase change materials and copper nanowires, targeting improvements in thermal performance for densely packed electronic architectures. Luke has published his work in several peer-reviewed journals and presented it at international conferences. He is a 2023 Stanford Graduate Fellowship (SGF) and Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (EDGE) Fellow. Aside from research, Luke enjoys swimming, running, and traveling.
