Yoonjin Won is an Assistant Professor with the Mechanical Engineering Department at UC Irvine. She received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.B.A (2005) from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea, and completed her M.S. (2007) and Ph.D. (2011) in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. She is currently a postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Goodson studying the mechanical properties of nanostructured films, including carbon nanotubes, nanowire, and GST films. Her interests are in the area of fundamental investigation and application of nanomaterials.
