Julian is originally from the Los Angeles County and received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from the University of California, Merced in 2021.

He is now on the pursuit of an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University as a contributing member of the nanoHeat Research Group.

His current research interests include thermal and electrokinetic transport processes with applications in thermal management and energy storage.

Outside of research, you can find Julian reading, playing chess, or weight training.
